Nice looking Pre- "Super Duty" F350.
Posting this mostly because I dont see many Bulls at dealerships. Kind of gives a sense of price for those of you looking to put a dollar value on your trucks. We will see how long it takes to sell.

This looks like it's a 1985 1/2 since it has a D60 up front. I would normally assume it's a swap, but it looks like it has the Dana 60-only sway bar. If it is a swap, it was done well.

Well spotted.  Would be nice to know the build date and plant.  I'm curious when the D60 was phased in.

No sign of that upper molding that is seen on the 1985.5 models though.

I went to the dealer's website, and although there were no pictures of the certification label, there was a sticker on the radiator support stating the C6 was recalibrated 6/85.

Does that mean it was recalibrated at the factory?  Or the dealership?  Before or after it was sold?

I've never seen a sticker like that.

Me neither honestly. I'm really surprised the black ink in the marker was able to survive the heat from the engine for the last thirty years.

I didn’t know there was an HO 460.

Guess I thought they all were.

There wasn't.  Nothing in the literature says there was anything but the standard 460.  I assumed someone was using 351W terminology where the one with the 4bbl was the "HO".

I've never seen a sticker like that.
I contacted a retired Ford Engineer. Here is his response:

I think there may have been a service bulletin to change something - like the speed/load shift schedule. It may have been done as a response to some problems customers were having in the field. My Escape had a recall to do this to my computer controlled trans, which in my case was done by re-flashing the computer. As long as the trans works correctly I would not worry about it.

LARIAT 85
In reply to this post by swampedout
That is a very nice F350.  The thing is, I don't think Ford offered the "LARIAT" trim on an F350.

But who cares?  Whoever did it, did it right.  Other than the aluminum tailgate finish panel, everything is there and it looks like it belongs.
