1985 F150 manual 6cyl. $1k!

Well. If I wanted a divorce, getting a third bullnose would be a fast track, but at this price it is tempting.

That thing sure looks clean from that angle.  Absolutely hard to beat for that price.

Lots of the 6-banger lovers on here.  And, the 300 has my favorite bore and stroke, so is 3/4 of my favorite engine.

The 300 six is also 3/4 of another very good engine: the 400 six! If it didn’t require so much modification to make one fit, I would put one in my crew cab... for those of you still scratching your head, I’m referring to the 6.6L Ford/New Holland diesel found in ‘85-‘94 F600-F900 trucks.

SHORT BED 4-DOOR DIESEL: 1986 F350 4x4 under construction-- 7.3 IDIT ZF5+GVOD

STRAIGHT SIX 4X4: 1981 F150 2wd to 4x4-- 300 I6 close ratio diesel T19, hydroboost brakes, Saginaw steering

BIG F: 1995 F-Superduty under construction— converting to 6.9L IDI diesel ZF5+DNE2

Last year, I tried to sell Tim Meyer on this, but he just smiled!

I wasn't aware of the 400 six diesel.  That would be cool!

Yes, Tim has lots going on w/o adding more products.
