1983 V6 Radiator Hoses

This is actually Gary for Lester, who I signed up on the forum.  But his twin brother, Leonard, has just purchased a 1983 F100 shortbed w/the 3.8L V6 and was asking me about a lower radiator hose for it.  I'll respond under my name.

Ford told Leonard that they couldn't find the lower radiator hose in the system.  What???  




Also, the engine had a vibration that turned out to be the flex plate.  And the mechanic was told that there were 4 different flex plates.  Huh???

Thanks, David.  I'm not sure they think they need it at this point since they found a very heavy hose that they were able to bend into shape.  Said they didn't think it would collapse if you drove over it.

Anyway, if they need it now they'll know.  

p.s.  These are Janey's cousins.  A couple of kids - 3 months younger than I am, whatever that is.
