I like the idea of a camper built out of a Bullnose, but not on an F150 chassis.

I agree. I looked at one locally last year (very, very rough) and it was also a 1/2 ton.

No way, Jose!  An F150 w/a 300 six and a C6?  And probably not even sway bars?  (No pics of the suspension, but sway bars sure weren't common.)

That's for sure. I remember thinking the frame extension seemed a bit haphazard so would like to see one as a frame off restore.

If it fit an 8' F150 frame it would fit an 8' F250/350 frame.  That could handle it.

That's for sure!  Nothing against Toyotas, but the ones from the 80's were small.

Yes, no ill will intended. I had an 87 4Runner, had enough trouble with itself, let alone a motorhome on it.
