1980 lower body moldings

I realize this is a long shot but I am looking for a set of the lower body moldings for a 1980 long box truck.  These are the all metal ones without the plastic inserts.

I've seen a couple nos pieces (the short front fender ones) come up on eBay but never the longer ones. I like the look of just the chrome in combination with certain paint colors.

How about taking some of the black insert ones and removing the insert, adhesive, and then polishing?

I looked into doing this awhile back and found that some had tabs for the inserts but others didn't. Never tried to find out the pattern on it though. Just a heads up on something to check if you go this route.
