My 1356 simply grounds the bulb.

I have no idea how the various indicator lamps are lit up in a PSOM cluster, but I'd imagine that you could change out red lens and the bulb socket should have power in run.

Update - the BW 1345 and the 1356 take the same 4wd switches, so the wiring to them must be the same.  And Big Blue's switch grounds the wire.

Made good progress again today. I pulled the whole exhaust and welded every seam that I could, and installed a new hanger at the crossmember/end of muffler. It is much better now! New gas tank straps installed as well as the fuel filler neck and fuel filler door/assembly. Then of course the floor...here she is! I still have some more bolts to do, but that’s it until next weekend. I have to travel up north this week with work.

Well guys the old 80 Flareside 4x4 finally made her first trip on the road in many many years...probably more than 10 from what I’m told. The truck arrived here in ‘07 and was barely driven after that, and was then parked to rot away.

First fuel fill-up and trip to the car wash, about a 25 mile round trip. Still needs a bunch of work...lights and gauges fixed and of course some rust, but she’s otherwise on the road.

Another day in the garage and now all of the lights are now working! When I first fired this thing up not one single external light worked. The clear signals light up well...I can’t remember ever buying orange 1157’s before.

It feels good when you work on something and it works out dont it.

I know none of my gauges worked, did not try any lights before I pulled everything for the rebuild.
So I had nothing to lose if they did not work on first try LOL
