1980 F100 4.9 AT Flareside.

This shroud/shield came out of this truck and I can’t remember where it goes. Any help would be appreciated.D9820D4D-E8FD-452B-9579-06C79ACC5574.jpeg

That looks a lot like the shield for the nose of a mid-ship fuel tank.
But mine is plastic.

Can you add something to give us a sense of scale, or just state how big it actually is?

This is my '87 mid ship.fuel tank shield.
It's 6x12x15 approximately.

This picture has been up on my computer for several days, it's been nagging at me. It's got holders for a hard line, and those two bolts holes. I can't see where it bolt near the fuel tank, and the exhaust runs along the other side. See if it would fit around the transmission on the exhaust side.
