Yep, but years ago I also bought one from a specialty shop. Turned out to have two different-sized sheaves and I had to machine it.

Yep. And having two different-sized belts is going to cause problems. So I machined that sheave to be the same size as the other and found a matching crank pulley.

I think the crank pulley is going to be the much harder part for most people to implement.

It must be really nice to have the lathe and mill, so you can go right over and make chips!
